How to Tell Real Crystals from Fake

1. Look inside each bead. Hold it up to the light. Natural stones show inclusions at different depths: golden needles in rutilated quartz, green phantom layers, iron-red specks in fire quartz. Painted or glittery "inclusions" sit flat on the surface.
2. Expect variety, not uniformity. In a natural mix, every bead has its own texture, clarity and shade. Perfectly even, bright colors across every bead are a warning sign of glass or dye.
3. Check drill holes and cracks. Dye tends to pool around drill holes and along cracks, so darker color concentrated there usually means dyed stone.
4. Feel the temperature. Crystal beads feel cool to the touch and warm slowly. Glass and resin warm up faster. (Amber naturally feels warm and very light. That's normal.)
5. Know your amber and pearl. Real amber is surprisingly lightweight and feels warm. Real pearls feel slightly gritty when rubbed gently against a tooth and have a deep, soft luster, not a plastic shine.
6. Ask for real photos. A reliable seller shows the actual bracelet up close and says clearly that nothing is dyed. Every photo on this page shows the real stones.

Care & Cleansing

Energy cleansing (pick what feels right):

• Moonlight: Leave it on a windowsill overnight, especially during a full moon.
• Sound: Ring a singing bowl, bell or chime near the bracelet for a minute.
• Smoke: Pass it gently through the smoke of sage, palo santo or incense.
• Selenite: Rest it on a selenite plate or charging bowl overnight.

Because this mix includes amber and a pearl, please skip water, salt and saltwater cleansing. The methods above are gentle for all the stones.

Everyday care:

• Avoid strong sunlight and heat. Kunzite and some purple and pink stones can fade in sun, and amber doesn't like heat.
• Keep it away from chemicals: perfume, hairspray, lotion, alcohol, cleaning products and chlorine. Amber and pearl are especially sensitive.
• Take it off before showering, swimming, exercising and sleeping. This protects the stretch cord, the pearl and the amber.
• Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth, and store the bracelet on its own so softer stones like amber and pearl don't get scratched.

FAQ

Which stones are in this bracelet? The mix includes hematoid quartz (fire quartz), green phantom quartz, beeswax amber, Super Seven, kunzite, rutilated quartz and a pearl, alongside hand-picked companion stones in blue, grey, violet and pink.

Will my bracelet have exactly the same stones as the photo? It will match in grade, style, bead size and overall design. Because every natural stone is unique, colors and patterns vary, and the exact mix of companion stones may differ slightly.

Are the stones dyed? No. Every stone is never dyed. The colors are natural, and each bead looks a little different.

Is a 17mm bracelet too big to wear every day? It's a bold look, but stretch cord makes it comfortable, and we size it to your wrist. Many people love it as their everyday statement piece.

Can I cleanse it with water or salt? Please don't, because amber and pearl are sensitive to both. Use moonlight, sound, smoke or selenite instead.
